FineME · Our purpose and approach

Understand risk, one step at a time.

FineME brings country indicators and public company reports into one place, with explanations that help readers understand economic and financial risk.

01

Make complex data readable

Start with a plain-language overview, then explore the numbers, reporting periods and explanations behind it. You do not need to know financial terminology to begin.

02

Keep evidence in view

Country indicators and company filings are the evidence. Scores, summaries and scenario results are calculations based on that evidence. The source, period and data coverage matter as much as the result.

03

Explain what remains unknown

A screening score is not the probability of a crisis or bankruptcy. A hypothetical scenario does not predict an event or a year. Missing or older data can limit what can reasonably be concluded.

How a page is prepared

  1. Collect and date the evidence

The website imports available public data and reports. An observation period, filing date and import time describe different things; a recent import does not make an older report current.

  2. Calculate and explain

The system applies the published screening rules and templates to the available values. Results depend on coverage, reporting differences and assumptions; they are not a complete assessment of a country or a business.

  3. Show limitations and accept corrections

Readers can inspect the methodology and sources, and report a questionable value or explanation. FineME does not claim that a financial professional manually reviews every page or every automatic update.

Advertising and independence

FineME may display clearly labelled Google advertising to support the website. Advertising availability and the contents of an ad do not change the published calculation rules. An ad is not a recommendation from FineME.

Naming a data provider or linking to its reports does not mean that the provider endorses FineME. The website is an independent presentation of information, not an official service of the organisations it cites.
